Jim is a highly experienced Service Technician with over 35 years in the industry, including more than 30 years with Island Refrigeration. His expertise spans a wide range of systems, including walk-ins, ice machines, brewing systems, HVAC units, and complex refrigeration controls and electrical components. Certified in EPA, OSHA, Manitowoc, and Hoshizaki systems, Jim is known for quickly diagnosing issues and providing clear, reliable repair solutions. With a strong commitment to food safety and system performance, he ensures critical temperature-controlled environments stay fully operational for every client.

Chris brings over 30 years of hands-on experience in HVAC and refrigeration, including 16 years as a dedicated member of the Island Refrigeration team. With a strong background in service, installation, and sales, he specializes in everything from walk-in coolers and ice machines to complex HVAC systems and draft beer installations. Chris is EPA certified and stays current with leading manufacturers like Manitowoc, Copeland, and True, ensuring top-tier expertise across all equipment types. Known for his versatility, technical skill, and reliability, Chris plays a key role in delivering dependable solutions to every customer.

Robbie is a skilled Service Technician with 5 years of hands-on experience, all with Island Refrigeration, bringing strong expertise in walk-in coolers, ice machines, beer systems, and HVAC equipment. Certified by EPA and Manitowoc, he specializes in installations and troubleshooting complex wiring issues with precision and efficiency. Robbie is known for his transparency and commitment to educating clients, helping them better understand and maintain their systems for long-term performance. With a strong focus on the restaurant industry, he combines technical skill with real operational insight to keep customers running smoothly at all times.

Bobbie is a seasoned Service Technician with 10 years of industry experience all with Island Refrigeration bringing deep expertise across walk-in coolers and freezers, beer systems, ice machines, HVAC, and small refrigeration. Fully certified in HVAC Levels 1, 2, and 3, CORE, EPA, Manitowoc, and Hoshizaki, he delivers reliable, high-quality service on every job. Known for his fast response times and clear communication, Bobbie takes pride in offering honest guidance and practical repair options that customers can trust. With a strong focus on food safety, he ensures critical refrigeration systems stay running efficiently to protect both operations and customers.

Emmy has served as Office Manager for Island Refrigeration & Mechanical since 2019, playing a key role in keeping the company’s daily operations organized, efficient, and customer-focused. As the daughter of the owner, she brings a strong commitment to the family business and takes pride in supporting both customers and team members. Outside the office, Emmy enjoys spending time in Virginia’s Northern Neck with her husband, Robbie, a service technician with the company, and their beloved pets. Her dedication, reliability, and positive attitude make her an invaluable part of the Island Refrigeration & Mechanical team.
